Current status: Inside Surgical Residency does not currently rely on paid sponsorships or an active display-ad network. Affiliate links may be introduced later, but any material commercial relationship will be disclosed clearly where it appears.

How recommendations are handled

A commission does not make a product worth recommending. Resources should be included because they are genuinely useful, personally used, or carefully compared. When a recommendation is based on research rather than direct personal use, that distinction should be clear.

Where disclosures appear

If a post contains affiliate links, sponsorship, a free product, a discount, or another material commercial relationship, the relevant disclosure will appear clearly in or near that content rather than being hidden only on this page.

Editorial independence

Payment, free products, or sponsorship do not buy a positive opinion. Commercial relationships do not override medical accuracy, clinical judgment, or the site’s editorial standards.

Medical products and services

Commercial content involving healthcare products or services receives additional scrutiny. Educational content remains separate from individualized medical advice, and applicable advertising, professional, and disclosure rules still apply.
